As a disability advocate and science communicator, this 3-part series brings awareness to disabilities and encourages screening for genetic health ailments. The first, about the rare migraine subtype Basilar Migraine (or migraine with brainstem aura) debuted on Rare Disease day, as its a rare subtype of migraines. The second is a general epilepsy information awareness post, and third discuss a personal anecdote mixed with sci comm to discuss familial dilated cardiomyopathy and the importance of discussing genetic health ailments with family.
